Equality for Everyone

Can you imagine a world where everyone, everywhere is equal -- No judgements, No prejudice, No Laws keeping anyone from being who they truly are?

Let’s imagine that world, and create it.

Years ago, Russian artists had to hide their “real” art under their beds and in closets to protect these precious paintings because they were not “allowed” to paint anything but religious paintings!

The Impressionists broke out of the “mold” of puritan art and even through all of the criticism and doubt, they opened the the door to paint outside and to paint what they saw, not what they were told to do.  They made History by following their hearts.

Today, paint from your heart and take a chance -- no limits -- just be “YOU”!!!!

And I imagine a world where we are all equal in everything we do!

Let me know how you are doing!

And I wish us all PEACE!

Impressionist Painting of Peace

During a world crisis like the one in Haiti, we all need to be thankful for our country and our family and our lives.  It is so sad to see the devastation on the television and it does affect us all.  This is the time for “Peace” and that is why I am reminded to paint these special feelings that our world needs.

This is a painting that I did a few years ago for my sister, "A Peaceful Place".   The colors are soothing and gentle and it was painted with pure love!  It is a place where we all want to be.

As we all pray for the people in Haiti, we can find comfort in our lives and be grateful for all we have.

Give the gift of love today to everyone you see!

Thank you for enjoying my art!

Painting Peace

Four Days to Christmas!  I am waking up with Peace in my heart!
I recently finished the most beautiful painting of my life, “Peace”!  And, in order to paint this classic painting, I had to find the true feeling of Peace in my heart -- I must admit that sometimes it was a challenge, especially after listening to our worlds’ News!

The Golden Light of the lanterns glistens as the two women gracefully look for seashells on the beach as twilight beckons.  The Beach is my favorite place to find solace and comfort and recognize the incredible beauty of our world.

We have to believe that the serenity and peace that we find in life’s  small moments are meant to be felt every day of our lives.

I wish us all “Peace” in our hearts every day and especially now during this special season of Christmas!
