Life is Magical!  Each day brings us so many opportunities to share our gifts -- the gift of love, the gift of sharing, the gift of tenderness, a smile, and a hug is always great!

I have been doing a lot of incredible photos of children in late afternoon light in my back yard -- I am so excited to be creating magic!  Children bring joy and happiness to our world.

Find the child within and let that person come out and play today!  And experience the magic of life!

Praying is Believing!

As we all wait to hear about the fate of the four miners that are still missing, we can have faith and believe that they will be found alive!  They are now going to lower cameras in the hopes of finding them -- their outlook seems bleak!  The people of Montcoal are still hopeful and they have to believe that miracles can happen.

And, that’s how we can help -- by believing that they will be found alive!  Praying is believing that miracles can happen.

Let’s all send them our prayers!

Smiles are Magical

Every day give your best in all you do and give the gift of love!  Call a friend, hold the door open for a stranger, smile at everyone you see , let a person get in front of you at the supermarket --- it only takes a few minutes a day to make our world a better place by being a loving and positive person.

It’s the simple gestures in life that added up make a difference.  

Smiling is a good start!

Prayers for the Miners of West Virginia

For all of the people in Montcoal, West Virginia, I wish them peace and comfort.  And I pray that the four missing miners are found -- alive and well.

My heart is with the coal miners and their families of West Virginia.

Prayers for the Miners of West Virginia

Life is precious -- and every day people put their lives on-the-line to serve us.  The families and community of Montcoal, West Virginia mourn the loss of the twenty-five miners who were lost in the explosion at the mine yesterday.   They all join together and support one another and give comfort to their neighbors.

And everyone is praying that they find the four missing miners alive, and rescue them.  The human spirit is indeed a strong spirit and we can all learn from these people who live the life of miners that provide our world with the coal we use every day. Can you imagine working in a mine every day?  Be grateful for your job that doesn’t put your life at risk.  I am so grateful to be an artist. 

God bless the miners and their families of West Virginia.

Impressionist Days

Life is so beautiful -- it is full of surprises!  I spent the weekend taking photos of children playing at the beach, blowing bubbles and reading on a hammock -- it is always fun to be with children who have a great view of life -- that anything can be fun.
